Beach Photos

Well, we came home from our quick get away to Cape San Blas, FL. What a great time! I was working on editing the photos from our trip when a nice storm hit and killed the power. Not one to waste and opportunity, here is a photo of Charlotte's first power outage ...

Charlotte enjoyed her first trip to the beach. She finally got a chance to wear short sleeves and yes, even a swim suit! Melissa and I decided to do some family photos on the beach at sunset. The problem was that I forgot my tripod back in Georgia! Melissa's Dad, Dick, shipped it down to me the next day. One problem. The address I gave Dick was from my GPS, not the ACTUAL address of the house!! So I got resourceful and changed the address of the house buy using a Sharpie, paper plates and some thumb tacks. The UPS delivery guy was either very gullible, or just a nice person. I prefer to believe the later is true! Check out my handy work:

So, thanks to Dick, some quick thinking and a super nice UPS driver, I set up my tripod on the beach and put my camera on a timer. It was nice to have the beach to ourselves and have the time to get a couple of family portraits!

A photo of the two beautiful ladies of my life ...

We also had to get a shot of the whole family, pooches and all! I am glad to say that Melissa and I still love of dogs as much as we did before Charlotte came to us!

And what is a photo diary of our trip to the beach without some photos of our baby Charlie in her swim suit?! I know I posted a lot of photos of this 2 minute photo shoot, but we think she's too cute not to share!

Now some photos of Charlotte that are NOT being considered for the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition ...

Thanks to Melissa for getting this shot!

During this trip, Chili Dog decided to finally get in the water! We were so proud of her. She has so much fun walking in the surf.
After taking some photos of the sun setting over the waters of the Gulf, I wanted to get a unique photo of the house we rented. We stayed in the brown house (third from left).

We all had a blast on Cape San Blas, FL, and we can't wait to get back to one of our most relaxing places to visit!
