A memorable Memorial Day weekend!

Well, Memorial Day weekend is over and it's back to work, back to the grind and back to not being able to spend all day with our Charlotte. The good news is that we had a nice weekend and have some more photos of Charlotte to share!

On Sunday we met up with our friend Nancy and her son Matthew and went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Charlotte and Matthew sure do get along! And Mr. Matthew is quite the Casanova! He gave Charlie her first kiss from a boy ... neither one of them is even two years old yet!!

These photos were actually taken a few weeks ago at the Scotts Antique Market when Charlotte and Matthew were having fun playing footsie with each other from their strollers.

It stopped raining and the sun came out long enough for me to get these photos today! Our little girl is now able to stand and take short walks on her own! I try as much as I can to cherish these days of watching this doll grow up!

Happy Mother's Day, Melissa!

Today was Mother's Day and it was such a beautiful day to end the weekend! Charlotte is now a full 14 months old and is starting to say a word or two here and there. Her first words were "Thank you." I believe that this is a sign to come of how sweet this girl is! She also starting to "shoe." Like mother, like daughter! Charlie is also starting to stand on her own and walk while someone holds her hands.

We spent this weekend at Scott's Antique Market and at home planting in our back yard. Last week Melissa's friend Nancy came down to visit with her son Matthew. Charlotte had a wonderful time playing with Matthew and the two became friends. It's so awesome to see our little girl interacting with other children. We don't get to see it too often, even though she is surrounded by other kids at her sitter's house! We usually arrive to pick her up well after the other kids have gone home for the night.

Here are some photos of Charlotte and Mathew having a fun time together!

Nancy and Matthew joined us for lunch as well. Here are some shots of the kids during our meal.
