Christmas 2010 ... our 2nd!!

Charlotte's 2nd Christmas was another great time for our little babe! She has had a great time playing with ALL of her gifts, but currently favoring her new Brobee backpack (character from Yo Gabba Gabba) and her fire engine red trike. She is also her new art project desk that just her size!

Cousin Lauren with her American Girl doll and Santa Wrigley.

No Santa is complete without their out-of-scale Rudolph!

Charlotte always asks me to "col-lauw" with her. I can't resist the opportunity!

We lucky enough to have a little snow on Christmas Day!

Tell me, how cute is this?!

It was Charlotte's first snow fall, so Melissa had to show her how to catch snow flake on her tongue!

Shrimp Boat Santa 2010

On the day after Thanksgiving, down in Apalachicola, Santa Clause comes to visit riding in his red shrimp boat! Charlotte and Lauren got their photos taken with him!

Thanksgiving on Cape San Blas

As Thanksgiving approached, the we all decided to make last minute plans to celebrate the Holiday down at Cape San Blas, FL. Over the past few years that area has become a favorite escape from the norm for us. It's a wonderful place to go to unwind and enjoy a good book, quite days, the saltwater air, fresh seafood and the company you are with!

This was Charlie's third trip to the beach, but the first time she was actually able to enjoy what all is has to offer! The Thanksgiving meal was terrific and I believe that everyone really enjoyed the trip!

After eating a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.

Counting the pieces of dog food. She would made it up to ten, and even added a "w, x, y Z!" a couple of time.

Taking a nap on Chili's belly... so cozy!

The three of us feel asleep just like this just after Melissa took this photo!

Cousin Lauren and her dad, Dickie flying a kite on the beach.

Charlotte would file the molds with sand while Lauren constructed the sand castle a few feet away.

Working hard to get the castle finished before the sun set. The dark clouds on the right were an approaching storm.

Pebbles Flintstone circa 2010

Our little Charlotte experienced her second Halloween, and this time, it didn't taker her long to pick up on how it all works! After two houses, she knew that she had to have her pumpkin bucket, ring the door bell and say "ti'uh treat." If the door wasn't answered quickly enough, Charlie started knocking!

I'm so partial, but dang this child was cute! This year was Pebbles Flintstone. Charlotte's sitter, Chris made the animal print wrap which was wonderful to have since it got a little chilly.

Here are some photos form the evening. I hope to post a short video soon!

After the tick or treating was over, Charlotte pulled out her pony tail. The result was a hair style similar to Peg Bundy from Married With Children.
